If there’s an earthquake, my glassware doesn’t stand a chance, but the endless supply of sippy cups taking over the kitchen will be fine. As a mom of 1-year-old twins, I’ve purchased every sippy cup on the market in search of one that is actually spill-proof. The bad news, which should come as no surprise to moms, is that majority of sippy cups are not spill proof. Here's what I found:

This one is my favorite at the moment!! 

Pros: 
    •    It actually doesn’t leak unless thrown directly on floor. 
    •    Easy to grip handles
    •    Steady flow
    •    You can throw these in your diaper bag and not worry about a spill! 
    •    Super easy to clean
Cons: 
    •    Priciest of the sippy cups but worth every penny

This is my second favorite

Pros: 
    •    Great for the highchair
    •    Easy to clean and assemble
    •    Lid for the straw
Cons:
    •    They do leak but not much
    •    Too bulky to throw in the diaper bag during an errand
    •    I tried this as the first transition after bottles, my son didn’t quite understand how to suck out of a straw, my daughter picked it up immediately


Re-Play Soft Spout Cup

This is my third favorite sippy cup 

Pros: 
    •    Made out of recycled milk jugs
    •    These are great for leaving in the playroom, I don’t recommend for running errands 
Cons: 
    •    They do leak due but not as bad as the others
